Dr. Shin received her undergraduate education in biochemistry
and biology at University of Pennsylvania. She participated in basic immunology
research at the National Institutes of Health for 2 years, before she moved
to Dallas, TX to earn her medical degree at University of Texas Southwestern
School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology
at Baylor University Medical Center before moving back to the greater DC area.
She enjoys reading, pottery, photography, Korean TV dramas, and visiting local
orchards with her niece and nephews for seasonal fruits.
