Dr. Pickford received her medical degree from the University
of Virginia, and then completed her internship and residency at the
University of Kentucky. She is the past Vice-Chairman and Chairman
of the Ob-Gyn Department at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, and serves
on a variety of committees. She was named one of Washingtonian Magazine’s
Top Doctors. She enjoys obstetrics and gynecology for the ability
it gives her to care for women throughout all the phases of their
lives. Dr. Pickford lives in Vienna with her husband and two boys.
Her interests include mini-triathlons, reading, painting, and University
of Maryland sports (her undergraduate alma mater).
